I've never actually had this problem before so I'm not sure if it actually is that big of a problem or how to care for it.My 252 and my 350p share mig time in the shop depending on the project. Well my 252 ended up sitting unused for a couple of months. I went to install a new spool and realized there there are slight spots of surface rust on the drive rolls. How do you guys go about preventing this? My first initial thought would be to keep a light coat of oil on them, but would this affect their functionally? -via Mobile
Reply:Clean the rollers with a green Scotchbrite pad.
Reply:Thank you.Is there anything I can do to prevent the rust in the future?-via Mobile
Reply:Not sure what to use. Anything you put on the rollers could potentially affect the weld.
Reply:Thank you both. I just didn't know is even a thing coat of grease/oil would erect their ability to feed. -via Mobile
