Python push pull gun problems

Hi Folks, bought a Lincoln 350mp with push pull gun and thought I was upgrading from a millermatic 250x and a 30A......but the gun worked fine for a few months, then it would cut out while welding....took the gun apart and loose wire( tighten it up and away again) yahoo! Now today in the middle of lot's of work the gun was welding fine ,went for a break came back....nothing ,no wire feed,no argon...nothing DEAD!!!!!!  Now I'm stuck with no backup and a pile of work............shoulda  kept my 250x as a backup.   But I sold it when I got my  350mp...................   Now  what's your thoughts on the push pull issues and how long are the damn things warranty'd  Thanks for reading and curious if any had same issus????                                               G  Hunter

I figured this one might get more views than the other. If you want I can move this to the Lincoln area if you want me to. Good luck on getting your problem solved. Hopefully one of the guys who fix machines will come along shortly and point you in the right direction..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:Are you sure it is the gun? No gas? Could be a wire again. I had a wire  break on my Prince gun below the handle. If I twisted it a certain way it would make contact. Eventually with many breakages I bought another harness and looped it a few times before sending thru the handle. Reply:Thanks for trying to help me out....bringing to tech tomorrow.Paid 1800.00 7 monhs ago and this is the second issue with this gun and Lincoln says this  is their best tool for welding alu.  shure don't want to see their average one.But again thanks for your input....very dispointed with my purchase. Shoulda kept my  250X and 30a.                                                 GH
Reply:Shovelon  just to share knowledge, brought gun to tech.  and  found it was trigger mechanism.Have you ever examined the trigger and if you look closely there is set screw on the top of the trigger, a few turns to tighten and voila....fixed!       For how long....got fingers crossed                                GH
