My cable spool was fighting me and winning, too lazy to make a holder i ended up with this...a keeper. Borrowed a trailer from a friend the jack with the swivel wheel on the pole was jammed... didn't feel like making a trailer dolly but i had in my scrap pile this chair base that i spared to make a portable light bar...re purposed now, works better than the real thing on asphalt.I'm curious to see what others came up with their different situations and despair
Reply:Usually for wire, it's two end wall cinder blocks. The ones that are squared off and have the center notch to hold basement windows. 3/4" concrete pin works for the axle..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan
Reply:I like that wire un-spooler!!I might have to borrow it.
Reply:Yea the wire spooler looks good , and for small spools like you would use in truck lighting they would all fit. and if you put it on a little hand truck it would be easy to move , Watch Greenlee make one now. |
