Unused Miller Passport 180 amps, self contained unit. Located near Toms River, NJPortability is number one when you have to go to the job - because it can't come to you. Passport 180 contains all you need to MIG weld in one small lightweight packge. Self-Contained gas cylinder provides 25 minutes of welding time. The cylinder holds 12 oz of CO2. With arc control, you can select between a crisp-arc weld suited for mild steel or a softer arc suited for stainless steel and some mild steel applications. Reply:Tritium is correct, they are paint ball bottles that can be filled at your nearest paint ball outlet, and I just saw them in Lowes looking for something else ok the tool bin area. I was thinking to make an adapter to refill also. But have a MM135 that I have been using. There is a fitting on the back for your regular bottle. Seems a 20cf size wouldn't be to hard to transport with it. This unit is brand new.
Reply:You can make or buy transfill adapters to refill paintball cylinders at home. Plenty of info online.

Reply:Its liquid C02 so it will last as long as he stated. Since it's in liquid form you can fit a whole lot more in there for the size since it will expand into a gas when it leaves the bottle. That's why it's measured in oz's and not by PSI. Pressure stays constant(until it starts to run out anyways)
Reply:BC is correct, also there is a built in switch inside to toggle from using the small bottle out in the field for a quik repair or carried for an emergency say on the trail, to using your large shop bottle if you are just gonna keep it in the shop. And when you need to grab n go with it, its always ready.

Does the unit still have warranty left?The Passport Plus represents a significant improvement over the previous models. I haven't used the new Plus model, but it's supposed to be optimized for the use of CO2.. Also, enhancements were made to improve the Passports capability to weld aluminum. It also comes "spoolgun ready".A new Passport Plus can be purchased from BR Welding for $1,599. Reply:This is not a Passport Plus, that unit is capable of handling a spool gun, this one is not. Also if you want the spoolgun with the welder, this takes the price up to $1800. So maybe if someone needs it for projects other than aluminum, it may not be a bad price. This unit uses CO2 in the portable tank, and if the remote port is used, can push any of the mixed gases and argon. I can't give a warranty since I am not a dealer, and this was purchased some time ago. As always, price listed was a starting point and IS negotiable.
