Hello all, I am from Australia and looking to buy a new welder, cigweld and lincoln seem to be the leading brands over here and after purchasing a cigweld for my first welder i thought id get a lincoln for the next. I went into my distributer today and they ran out of the Lincoln power mig 180C units which i orignally wanted as i had heard such good reviews, so they offfered me the 210C 3 in 1 inverter mig for the same price. A $1549 unit for $999 i couldnt complain but i usually like to do research on anything i purchase and as i cant find anything at all for the 210c i thought i would ask, which is the better welder for mig welding? does a 3 in 1 inverter type take anything away from its mig welding capabilities?Any help would be greatly appreciated.Cheers little_sparky
Reply:Ignoring the other two functions for a moment,,, you went in for a 180C and they've offered a 210C for the same price. Seems like the step up at no additional cost is a no brainer. The only question then is -- do you want an inverter based machine?? Reply:what's a reason that i wouldnt want an inverter based machine? Whats the pros and cons? Thanks heaps for your reply though, greatly appreciated |
