The welder I normal use is and SP100.I am looking for something that is as good or better. The thing that I like about the SP100 is the adjustability.I weld sheet metal a lot and the newer click style settings just don't work well for me.What should I be looking for.Oh,I only have 110V at my hobby shed and no chance of running 220V.That will come when I build my garage. Then I'll go for a big welder.I also wanna stay mobile as possible for those special moments. It also doesn't have to be Lincoln.
Reply:You would want the Lincoln Power Mig 140C for the current Continuous Voltage Lincoln machine.Miller is the MM140but the price is around $640.00Ed Conleyhttp://www.screamingbroccoli.com/MM252MM211 (Sold)Passport Plus & Spool gunLincoln SP135 Plus- (Gone to a good home)Klutch 120v Plasma cutterSO 2020 benderBeer in the fridge
Reply:Another option would be the MM211. It has an infanite voltage adj. You can use it right now on 110V and later hook up to 220V if you want. It will cost more now, but you will save over getting a 2nd machine later..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear.
