Lincoln Ferroweld

Hi fellas, I was wondering, has anyone ever used Lincoln's ferroweld stick electrodes, and if so, how well did they work? I read on here quite often, and have never heard anyone mention them. Thanks.
Reply:Used a stick or two a while back to repair a long crack in a cast iron forge.Grind a gully,Pre heat and then weld.Seemed to work ok,no cracking with the preheat however there was no structural integrity involved in the repair,just wanted it to look pretty at demos.FelonLast edited by Felonyass Monk; 01-09-2010 at 06:12 PM.Caution lurker lives here" hmmm That is serious,pass the ganja and pick up a  24 of MGD"
