Hey guys would like some outsiders opinion on what you'd do in my situation. First off Im not looking to start a shop or weld everyday, just looking to be able to do automotive type stuff. So my previous welder was a miller 211 and I loved it but had to downsize and sold it off. So now Im starting to build my garge and considering either getting a Miller 211 again, but would like to learn to tig so I'm considering the Everlast powermts 211si. Which both are rated for 3/8 and 120/240. But I am also considering the Everlast Powermts 251si because it is rated to 1/2 which I honestly dont see myself using but also comes with DC Pulse. Another option would be to go Everlast I-mig 200 and an AHP AlphaTig 200x with the benefits of AC and having two units in case I have issues and one goes down. Or I could get the Everlast I-mig 200 and in a few months buy the Everlast Powerpro 256s with the big benefit of plasma cutting.Unless anyone has suggestions thank you in advance Last edited by conway4x4; 01-11-2016 at 09:28 PM. |
