Power Mig 255 XT

I got a new Lincoln Power Mig 255XT today.  I only had about about 30 minutes to play with it today but I got to say this is a great machine.  I was really impressed with how smooth it welded. I also have a Lincoln 180c and a 140T which are also nice machines but there is just no comparison to the 255XT. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone looking for a mig welder in the 250 amp range. I believe it is rated to weld 1/2 in a single pass. Well anyway, here's a couple of pictures of it. Reply:I Have the 255c I bought it new last year its the same machine without the timers on the front,I have used the miller 212's and Miller 304 xmt's Personally I prefer the lincoln 255c over both of those weldersbut that is just me Miller deltaweld's are a slightly smoother imo but that is running on 3 phase as wellInverter machines for mig seem weird in my hands, but for tig they are greatThese are personal prefrences all machines will do good welds but its all about what YOU do with it so you might as well have a machine you like
Reply:Just picked one up. Welds like a hot knife on butter.Big Heavy Duty feeder, knobs. This is no toy.
