Still trying to figure out how to capture the closeup arc shots.Made these because I am going to be building some square tube and angle iron frames for tables and cabinets, and wanted a way to buzz around the welds quickly without having warpage occurr.Any input is appreciate it.Checkout my youtube channel:  http://www.youtube.com/turbocobra
Reply:That is a cool idea, my concern is how do you make sure that they are at the same height when you build something. I know that my floor is not that even. Maybe yours is.

Reply:Just a thought from a complete novice....Lay a sheet of stiff 3/4 inch plywood on the floor and stand the vice stands on it?The plywood may bridge the unevenness in the floor?Just a thought....George in northern N.J.
Reply:That is a nifty idea. I have the Bessey ninety degree clamps. I use adjustable '' V '' top pipe stands with a  4 ''x 15'' long '' C ''channel you set on top of the '' V''. It works well and makes for a easy level adjustment. Adjustable pipe stands have many uses. http://www.grainger.com/product/19F6...Fe87MgodoSkA_QAbove is for reference .Last edited by BD1; 11-18-2014 at 01:47 PM.

Reply:Oh yea, that's a good deal and they look well made.  Thanks for the links sir!Checkout my youtube channel:  http://www.youtube.com/turbocobra
Reply:Maybe take the casters off and replace with nuts and bolts like at the top.  You could fine tune it for the uneven floor.Question what are those H.Freight things called?Dave ReberWadsworth Ohio
Reply:You talking about the 3 caster pods?  Don't really know the name of them.  I think I said I got them at harbor freight in the video, but I meant northern tool. Here is something that looks similar on amazon.http://www.amazon.com/Grip-3-Wheel-M.../dp/B003UFTVEICheckout my youtube channel:  http://www.youtube.com/turbocobra
Reply:Yes the three casters. remove them and replace with the nut bolt combo similar to the topDave ReberWadsworth Ohio
Reply:yea i see what you mean, would definitely had a lot more adjustability to get the heights leveled and consisted across all 4.  Thanks for the suggestion.Checkout my youtube channel:  http://www.youtube.com/turbocobra
