I just saved a 1949 Lincoln SA200 from the scrap yard. Many interesting details on this one. Attached is a photo of the carb/intake/governor.Has anyone seen a set up like this on an SA200?Hobo Attached ImagesLincoln SA200's... at least 15 - 20. They come and go. Growing partial to the "Short Hoods" in my old age. Last count on Short Hoods was 13 in possession.
Reply:Sorry I can't help with your question, but just wanted to say that I like the work you have been doing on these machines. Glad you saved another one!I have been following your posts on youtube. If you were closer to me I might even want to buy a machine from you! (I am in southern California)Mike
Reply:Nope. Interesting setup. One throttle plate for the idler and one for the governor. The offset housing moves the carb far enough away from the mag cap so the high speed jet adjuster clears the mag wires.Looks lilke the carb flange on the manifold is a bit higher than later versions.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!
