alternator upgrade for sa200

gonna upgrade my alternator to a 1 wire.upgrade to a 10si?read the posts here on how to do it, but still unsure of the wiring for it.anyone got a pic showing how their 1 wire is wired?unsure of what to do with the 2 prong connection. thanksdave
Reply:Alternators which are modified to "one-wire" connect only one wire, as the name implies.  The single wire must be large enough to handle full alternator output and connects "B" or battery terminal to the + side of the battery. The alternator's two small spade terminals are no longer functional and can be ignored. Good Luck

Reply:Yes, you can buy an off-the-shelf one-wire alternator, but not for an original GM application. A one-wire unit is a stock GM-type alternator which has been modified internally by replacing the voltage regulator with a self-exciting type voltage regulator. Reply:alright, thanks againgoing by the diagram for 1 wire at bills repair, it shows 2 wires coming off the alternatorone wire going to the oil switch, the other to the ammeter.dave
