I am running down a part that appears to only be available from "Vintage Parts, Inc." It is really nice that they list someone's inventory for obsolete parts but I haven't found any information on how to contact this company or order parts from them. It is also quite tricky to search for a company named "Vintage Parts" and to find something other than a billion links for car parts. Does anybody know who this company is and how to price and order obsolete parts?

Reply:Thanks, that does appear to be the place.I can find the part when I don't have an account. When I created an account I lose a number of options, including searching for Lincoln Electric parts. They clearly state that only dealer orders can be made by phone, retail orders must go through the web site only! I guess they don't sell Lincoln Electric parts retail. Sigh, I really hate having to work hard at getting people to take my money. I wouldn't mind it so much if people worked a bit harder to give me their money. |
