Crank start pipeliner

If a pipeliner with a 4cyl cont has a crank start,what would the approximate age be.Are they even worth buying?

Reply:First hand crank was in 1938. The last was in 1983, the diesels were introduced 1970.All pipeliners had hand cranks it was the backup starter for the machine.The pre 80's machines are awesome they are copper wound they weld awesome.
