hi,bought a new miller xr-s and new 25ft. aluma pro gun....to run off TB325.....setting up for 5356 for dump truck repairs, etc....im thinking 3/64 wire dia. would be best......i seen on millers calculator, for 1/8 thick, 3/64 is listed.....also for much thicker materials too...anyone running this size and flavor wire?........or from an engine drive??does anyone have this control or gun and have any comments/opinions??I also have an 8RC for regular mig/flux for the TB.....Im gonna go look at a job today.....alum triaxle dump body that needs last 8 feet of floor and sides redone.....i can load the TB in my truck and have it parked outside the dudes big shop and weld inside......would be a PITA to bring the MM251 and spool gun....thanks, rich |
