Metal pine cones

Here you go Equilibrium. She sent me the pattern she made for the metal pine cones. The only things missing are the really large sizes layers 10-12, but you should be able to figure those out from the description, and the center holes.To assemble one you will need either a long threaded bolt that is completely threaded or some really small diameter all thread and a bunch of matching nuts. Put down the smallest layer at the top of the bolt or piece of all thread with a nut attached, then add another nut to hold it in place. I'll try and cut out a few of the pieces with the tin snips tonight if I do and toss one together..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:I've got a small sheet of 22ga I'm going to try and make one out of tomorrow possibly. The original person who made the pattern did it all cold using snips, so I'd guess she used 20-24ga steel for hers..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:Well since the thread came back up, I ended up making one of the pinecones out of copper sheet as a Christmas present for my wife.  I didn't get any pictures, maybe I can get one after she un wraps it.What I learned in this project, I certainly would not want to try and make money making these.  Also for anyone wanting to make one of these, you can make a pretty nice looking small pinecone using just the first 6 small patterns.
