weldanpower wiring question

I got the wiring diagrams from Lincoln earlier this week. Probably a silly question, but are the wires on the machine marked the way they are numbered on the diagrams?I'm going to try to get some stuff done on it this weekend. Mainly get the starting system working and get the muffler solidly attached. And hopefully find out where the dangling wire I found above the capacitor bank goes. If I can find my stupid dvm that is. I know I have seen it recently, but I have CRS.  I even have an analog meter, but darn if I know where that went also.Thanks,RussRIP Mallory, we miss you.

Reply:Really? that is more than I had hoped for. Thought I would be id'ing all of them. Oh, while I am thinking about it, the battery charger diagram has a resistor that it says is 2 or 4 ohms depending on the machine? How do I know which value I am supposed to have(if it is either destroyed or otherwise not measurable)?(Just a side note, I tend to always assume the worst. :-)  )Thanks,RussRIP Mallory, we miss you.
