Just a little cargo rack

A friend wanted to scrap his OEM atv cargo rack and had me build a heavy duty model for his gold prospecting equipment. Here's what we came up with. It's .065 rectangular tube with a hinged middle section to access a small tool compartment. Reply:That's is really slick looking but I don't consider 1/16 heavy duty. That's is really nice tho. I bet everyone was happy with the out come!
Reply:When the longest unsupported span is  only about 16", .065 becomes overkill. Reply:That is really nice. Back when I was still in the business I subcontracted for a company called CMP out of Cambridge Mn. They built the racks for Polaris, Arctic Cat, and Honda atv's at the time as well as their own line of products. My shop did most of the Honda and a few of the Cat racks.
