1 3/4" x 1/4" wall round tubing NON DOM

I feel like I'm losing my mind here I can't find this.  All I can find online or around here is DOM tubing and this definitely isn't DOM.I'm rebuilding the output conveyor on a Case LBX 332 baler that they mangled up.  It has two tubes on it, both of them of a seam welded.  One is 1 3/4" OD with a 3/16" wall, the other is 1 3/4" OD with a 1/4" wall.  My local steel suppliers can only get DOM in anything larger than 10 gauge in 1 3/4" and the 3/16" wall DOM runs over $20 a foot and I'd have to buy a whole 20' stick. Someone somewhere must sell this size, I only need 5' of each.  Anyone know if you have it in your area?

Reply:If the tubing you're replacing is simply a shaft for a bearing (I have no idea what you're actually working on), simply use smaller diameter pipe, then sleeve it where the bearings need to ride with a 1 3/4 cold roll round donut."Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Reply:These don't have bearings that ride on them, but the one has a long hinge that pivots and slides on it for unfolding the second conveyor.  Other than that the only real issue was they pass through brackets I'm reusing from the old part.  I got a quote back from a place in Fort Collins that will probably be my new steel supplier as I got a quote from the local place for the 3/16" wall DOM, for twice the price of the 1/4" wall, and they'll also deliver it for free here next week.  I will post some pictures when I'm done with this.
