End Mills

Anyone have a sugestion on good low priced end mills. I have used Morse end mills and they hold up well but I would like something a little cheaper if possible. I have a set from grizzly that are decent but you can tell they are low end.Making as much progress as a one legged duck in the middle of a pond, just going in circles.
Reply:i've bought tool holders and collets from shars.com, they were imports and they were actually pretty good quality for the price..  I wouldnt be scared to try their endmills.. something you might consider is going to carbide, yes they cost more, but they also last much longer..tackleexperts.comwww.necessityjigs.comhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/mach...dingequipment/
Reply:Honestly watch for a "endmill lot" on ebay and get the whole lot. You get endmills and cutters you wouldn't normally just buy and they will get you out of a pinch sometime. I bought both a endmill lot and HSS lot for the lathe. I am very happy I did, very interesting the different HSS there are and nifty endmills that I wouldn't otherwise have if I bought new, separately.

Reply:I just bought end mill lot from ebay. 50 lbs worth. Most of them brand new for 70 bucks. There has to be worth of 1k cutters. Search toolyouup on ebay.
