Airgas Miller 252

Just wanted to comment about my local Airgas. I bought a Miller 252 last Thursday, got a very good deal actually lower than anyplace online. They delivered it for me but I didn't have time to hook it up till Saturday. Hooked it up and poof, puff of smoke followed by hlp codes. Didn't want to bug the guy, I had his cell number. Called Monday AM bout 8 and left a voice mail. Store called me back at 8:05 and said that's not normal for those units let us call you back. Called me back at 10 and said can we come to your house and check the unit, I said sure see you in 20 min. 1035 they pull up with a new unit, help me set it back up apologized about 20 times and gave me a full roll of .035 wire for my inconvenience. Reply:I like hearing about customer service like that, it gives you hope there are still some people out there who care more about keeping a customer happy then just selling a product and never worrying about them again.

Reply:Great that they took care of it. Maybe Air Gas is trying to repent for all their bullshlt in the past; well maybe some of them. I know they had the best price on a Ellis screw vise for the Ellis band saw ONLINE. Sadly my local one still sucks on cylinder exchanges; off the charts.
