Magneto Identification?

I got a call last night about some old Triumph motorcycle parts that I have, and in the process I pulled out this old magneto that i've been wondering about for years. Does anybody know anything about this, with very little research I believe it was used on early model european motorcycles. I would like to recirculate it back into the hands of someone that can use it. Any idea of its value?
