Reply:...went for just north of $800. Wasn't me. Actually, I find it amazing that this website (canada government surplus auction) brings what I would call fair market value for working machines, when it is an auction with no guarantees and unable to test to see if it is in working condition. Unbelievable in my books. I typically bid for scrap / spare parts prices, and typically don't win these. I get better deals on ebay believe it or not...JasonXMT 350 MPA Dynasty 280DXSuitcase 8RC / OptimaSpoolmatic 30AThermco Ar / C02 mixerAssorted O/A gear
Reply:I didn't get it either, would be a reasonable price If you where going to use it. I just planned to flip it had I won.
Reply:Its a reasonable price, but only if it works. It had no power plug, so nobody would be able to test it, and there's obviously no warranty. No way would I pay that price under those circumstances. I have a number of family members that would appreciate a reasonably priced mig, so I would have just flipped it too. The XMT is more than enough for me.XMT 350 MPA Dynasty 280DXSuitcase 8RC / OptimaSpoolmatic 30AThermco Ar / C02 mixerAssorted O/A gear |
