Broke Hobart 135 - Worth buying to fix?

Reply:My friend had the same problem.  Turned out that it won't feed when the dials are between taps.My name's not Jim....

Reply:I guess I have too kind a conscience. If it were me, I'd email the guy and have him set it exactly at a letter/number (not between clicks) and see if that solves his problem. If it didn't, then I wouldn't have too much problem buying it for $100 then buying parts to fix it.
