Question for those of you running inverters with a 6010 port.....Do you run 6011s in the 6010 port or do you use the normal port for the 6011s? I have an Everlast PowerArc 200st (great welder by the way). The 6011s seem to run ok in the regular port but wondered if it is "better" to run them out of the 6010 port.Lincoln Ranger 305gMiller X-Treme 8VS Suitcase FeederLincoln Powermig 210 MPLincoln AC225 TombstoneAmico MMA-160Titanium Easy Flux 125A pile of grinders.
Reply:Try it.Just a couple welders, big hammers, grinders, and torches.Work will free you.Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it. Trump/Carson 2016-2024
Reply:Honestly I couldn't tell much difference with the 6011s. The 6010s wouldn't fire in the regular port but the 6011s would.Lincoln Ranger 305gMiller X-Treme 8VS Suitcase FeederLincoln Powermig 210 MPLincoln AC225 TombstoneAmico MMA-160Titanium Easy Flux 125A pile of grinders.

Reply:What little 6011 I've run with my PA-200, I use the 6010 port. I really like Hobart's 335A 6011. Attached ImagesDont pay any attention to meIm just a hobbyist!CarlDynasty 300V350-Pro w/pulseSG Spool gun1937 IdealArc-300PowerArc 200ST3 SA-200sVantage 400
Reply:I'm not a pipe weldor. I like the 6011 because it's not as violent as the 6010...a little easier to run IMHO.Lincoln Ranger 305gMiller X-Treme 8VS Suitcase FeederLincoln Powermig 210 MPLincoln AC225 TombstoneAmico MMA-160Titanium Easy Flux 125A pile of grinders.
Reply:I recommend the 6010 port, or, in general for all cellulose based flux rods. 6011 will run in the regular port for most people, but in my opinion you won't get quite the penetration.Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT
