We have a 4 month old puppy that is constantly harassing our kitty. Because of this (and because the dog will chew ANYTHING, new boots included), we gave the kitty pet dominion of the upstairs living area. Initially we were looking at pet gates like this:http://www.gates-usa.com/Tall-Steel-...steelguard.htmFor the price, I thought that it was crap with the universal generic compression fit design and paper thin metal so I decided to make one myself this weekend with what I had lying around.Attachment 978461Attachment 978471Attachment 978481Attachment 978491
Reply:As you can probably see, there is a basic latch that is designed into it, but so far I have not used it as he does not try to open the gate. I'll probably put a white plastic plug in there if he stays this way.
Reply:That looks real good! Just smack him in the nose or kick him in the back of the legg when he gets in trouble lol. That's what I do and yell at them at the same time
Reply:One of my dogs gets in trouble mutliple times a day and the other one never does. The black one in my profile pic is a trouble maker. But there a blast!
Reply:Looks professional grade! Nice work
Reply:Agreed! I looks great from here!
Reply:Thanks guys, just a quickie honey-do for the boss.Moto, hard to get mad at this fat little turd, but he knows when I holler that he's doing something wrong! Attachment 978591
Reply:That came out great! Looks super clean. |
