well my dynasty 200 dx will be here friday.....heres the catch. i baught off ebay. i need to test machine asap so i can get my $ back if its not in full functional order like the seller stated. now....i dont have a pedal, or torch, but i have a pedal and torch at work off a dynasty 350 lx. so, i need to know how i can test this machine. i see on the front there are 2 twist and lock female connectors. is that for stick only? wheres the tig connections? is there anything i need besides a 14 pin pedal, and a water cooled torch? can i use the cooler off the dynasty 350 lx, or if i cant can i use the water cooled torch to just test ac, and dc tig on the machine?   please lemme know. thanks a lot. i am really exited about this purchase.....Joe
Reply:can i use the water cooled torch without the cooler to run a short low amperage pass?

Reply:Is this he machine you already have for sale on the Miller Forum?Note to self, most here read both.  Also, why and how do your threads disappear?A few here and on the other forum.  Specifically the one on MW where u r auctioning off the Dynasty 200 already.  That one completely vanished into thin air.TA Arcmaster 300CM3XMT 304S22P12 suitcase feederX-Treme 12VSOptima pulserTA161SMaxstar 150STLHypertherm PM45OP setupStihl 020AVP, 039, 066 Magnum
Reply:yeah, he posted about it a week ago here, asking what they sell for used.  he said hepaid $1850 via ebay for it.  he also posted about buying and selling a Lincoln 255 TIG and a syncrowave.   Nothing wrong with flipping machines for money if you can.  However, that link on Miller forum does damage your credibility a bit.   Posting something for sale that you don't even have and making claims about it and asking on another forum how you can test if it works...Probably this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Miller-Dynas...item1c2c022d08As for the tig connections, if its anything like the Lincoln v205t i had, the gas passes through the torch cable.  its a special plug with a hole in the middle.Last edited by soutthpaw; 10-19-2012 at 09:17 AM.Tiger Sales:  AHP Distributor    www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P,  Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma.  For Sale:  Cobra Mig 250 w/ Push-pull gun.  Lincoln Wirematic 250

He is going after this big aluminum welding job, yet seems to know very little about the machines or processes that he would have to use.Last edited by Tundra08; 10-19-2012 at 09:43 AM.Reason: spellingMiller Diversion 180Lincoln Mig Pak 5000 HDHypertherm 45Uni-Spotter Stud WelderOxy Set-up with Harris TorchMiller 30FX Arc StationMiller Elite - Hockey Canada Helmet

Reply:hey hey hey. whats the big deal? if i can sell a machine and make a profit i will. no secrets here. i didnt delete the miller thread, the site did. machine will be here tonight ups says. guys, i have been nothing but honest with everyone here so i would appreciate it if the acusations would stop. you didnt see me trying to sell it here. maybe someone wants to buy it. if it wasnt for selling machines i would never be able to own this dynasty. i started with $400, and now own millers latest model. does that make me a bad person?also.....if anyone has a problem with me come to me and ask. dont talk behind my back. this is the first time ive come across these posts.Last edited by loolagigi; 10-19-2012 at 05:39 PM.
Reply:Originally Posted by 7A749No, it doesn't.I didn't accuse you of anything either.Look, I've been doing this for a LONG time & I can tell you one thing right now. It's not the buying or reselling of things that's called into question, it's the WAY you go about it.When you ask for advice, get it on one board, then  go to another site to sell something you don't even physically have ( not to mention after you have already flipped two machines in under two weeks & asked the people on the board for advice on those too), how do you think people are going to percieve it?How would YOU?It kind of comes off like you're using people. Would you have sold that cooler I was going to sell you for cheap to help you out on another site a week after you got it for a profit? Can't help but wonder after what I've seen.See, it's the kind of perception you create that says the most. When that perception appears to be one of someone looking for the fast track buck & hawking things not even in their possession yet, it just goes without saying.I've said all I'm going to say. I can tell you for fact, there are those here who wouldn't have given it to you with the tact I have. I don't want to argue with you about it, just telling you the way a lot of people see it. Why is it buy & sell guys get the rap they do from a lot of people? It's because some go about it in such a mercenary way, it's hard not to feel rotten about them. Does the term " used car salesman" leave you all warm & fuzzy? Probably not. Can you think of why? I don't really have to say do I?IMHO of course
Reply:its too bad this turned into this, i have questions about my machine that just got here and now i feel like i cant ask questions about it. great.

Reply:I would start by reading the manual cover to cover.  Most of the questions u have asked would be answered already.  Not only r u wanting to make a quick buck u also want quick info spoon fed to you cuz it seems. That u r unwilling to research it yourself.  If you search 200dx here u will find plenty of info including setting and using advanced functions.Tiger Sales:  AHP Distributor    www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P,  Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma.  For Sale:  Cobra Mig 250 w/ Push-pull gun.  Lincoln Wirematic 250

They very well may be connected to the a$$ you have to kiss tomorrow. That includes how you choose to do business & how you choose to make a profit. Discretion is often the better part of valor.Sometimes you only get one shot to make a good impression. You can only burn that bridge once. So yeah, you go ahead & keep doing what you're doing. You may end up with a wad of cash in your pocket & a new welder.Life & doing good business with people is worth a hell of a lot more than money Joe.
