Nice older Lincoln welder/generator unit. This is a mid 80's model and this is the predicessor to the Ranger 8 type units. Straight stick, no CV or remote control. It's rated 225A DC/210A AC and 6KW auxiliary power, 115 or 230 VAC. It's powered by a single horse Briggs Cast Iron engine, model 32. The welder starts and runs well, I do not know any history on it but it look well treated and clean. I removed the generator section cover and the internals were very clean, no evidence of overheating, cracked insulation, etc. Not even much dust. The engine runs well and has good compression. I just complete a tune up with new plug, air filter, carb rebuild and oil change. It also has a new battery. I also installed a small automotive muffler as seen in the pics, this works very well to quite the engine. It's still not silent but much better than the stock muffler. I still have the stock muffler and everything is bolt on should you need to return it to OEM config. This is a nice little unit, I've used it for stick and aux power and it's worked very well. I'm selling it as I bought a larger diesel machine with CV and remote control capability, so I'm selling this one. This is located in San Diego CA but I may be able to arrange delivery within the CA/AZ/southern NV area. I am not sure what market value is for this thing, so fell free to let me know if that's way too high. Thanks, ~John Attached Images |
