I'm perfectly happy with the water-cooled torch that came with my Miller 200DX and Coolmate 1 cooler, but if I ever did decide to change it what is involved?  That is, even if a new torch came with its own lines do I use only the torch itself and attach it to the current lines?  If not, if I have to disconnect the current lines does the coolant start running out of the tank until lines from a new torch are connected?  Do I have to have a container ready to catch the coolant that's in the present torch lines?  Do I have to have extra coolant on hand to top up the tank?  In other words, can two torches be readily swapped back and forth on this welder/cooler without any issues, or is it a somewhat messy proposition?
Reply:No problem. But buy a whole torch set with hoses complete. You could even buy the dinse connector as well. Then just unscrew the water hose from the cooler, gas hose from the machine, and pull out the dinse connector and put the new set in. You never know when a hose is gonna blow.Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li  ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.

Reply:I want that torch. Very bad!
Reply:Little messy.  It would be faster with no coolant lose to just change the collet, diffuser and cup.For different tungsten sizes and processes. If you decide you must have two torches, Get two dinze adapters. one for each torch. The cooler pumps the coolant from the tank ( blue fitting).Goes through the torch and comes back down the red power cable to the red fitting. The coolant then goes through the radiator and dumps back into the tank. Might loose a couple of tablespoons of coolant from the cooler plus what is in the torch.
