Reply:Determine where you will install it.....Then raise saw fully and measure how far cylinder must open to determine if it will open at least that far.Odds are it will be plenty strong nuff to dampen your saw head as it travels downward...So simply worry about it's full travel distance when located where you must place it on saw.Of the two choices, dismiss both..they are not hydraulic...they are air cylinders.Last edited by wornoutoldwelder; 04-13-2016 at 01:03 AM.
