I recently picked up a Precision Tig 225 with a bunch of accessories off of Craigslist It came with a CK linear hand controller attached to a watercooled torch.Although I don't really have any immediate plans to use a water cooler, I know the hand controller will come in handy for some of our work that will require standing on a ladder or swinging from a vine Unfortunately, the CK cable was cut before the plug It's a 5 wire cable (Red, Black, Green, Orange and White) and I have a 6-pin receptacle on the unit.Anyone have the part number for the 6-pin connector from Lincoln? Also, where can I get a wiring diagram so I can start splicing?Rick
Reply:pull the side cover of your welder. one side or the other will have the machine diagram. The remote plug and remote wiring are shown there. You can get the plug from lincoln or any electronics store. Get flash light and find the insert number. Then match it up to a plug catalog sheet and add the shell type.Look in your operators manual and get lincoln's phone number call the parts dept and ask for the part number. If you ask nice they might give you the lincoln number and the industry number for just the plug. |
