I found a used Fabricator 181i on Ebay for $695 with the tig torch and carry bag. I got pictures of it and it looks like new. I have been looking for a used one but since they are so new there doesn't seem to be a secondary market yet. It has at least under 2 years on the warranty. do you think this is a good deal?Last edited by hotrod123; 03-14-2012 at 03:19 PM.
Reply:That was a smoking deal....especially since it included the tig torch ($100+ option). Looks like someone bought it, hopefully it was you.http://www.ebay.com/itm/251017560592I was looking at them before I bought my PowerMTS 200S.Hobart Handler 140Everlast PowerMTS 200SHypertherm Powermax30
Reply:yes that was my buy. The guy said he wanted to get a new miller tig and only used it once. The pictures he sent me showed it was very clean and no scratches. I was about to buy a new one but came across this one.
Reply:I think you will be happy with it. Adjusting the settings takes some getting used to but you will get it dialed in right quick. The lift TIG is not my favorite function of this machine but it gets the job done well enough. They offer a nice 150 amp spool gun package for that machine. Think I paid about $250 or so for mine and it comes in a nice case. I am always impressed at how great a job it does... especially when I pick it up to put it back in the truck. It weights less than my 110v SP135.Sent from my Kindle Fire using TapatalkMiller Maxstar 200 DX - Syncrowave 200 - MillerMatic 200 - Bobcat 225 NT - Spoolmate 3035/SGA 1003 X Lincoln Power MIGs (200, 215XT 255)3 X Lincoln SP's (100, 125, 130)Thermal Arc 181i (spool gun and TIG torch)HT Powermax 1000 G3
Reply:I'm looking forward to getting it. I don't plan on welding aluminum but it's good to know about the spool gun in case I ever want to. |
