Reply:If its something you want to do I would definately go for the restoration. Does the welder work as is? Some guys have done some very nice restorations on here. Try the search and see if you can find some of the other ones for some ideas

Reply:Mr. Ironmangq:Yes, when I got the welder home the carb was disassembled. I ordered a kit and rebuilt the carb. After installing the carb, rewiring the starting circuit and checking out the fluids she started up.Mr. Donald:Thanks for asking. I was born in November. Yes at the time of the heart attack, I was a former smoker. On Wednesday before the heart problem I was in Atlanta working. I now know on Wednesday afternoon I had a small heart attack and again on Thursday AM a bigger heart problem. I went to my Doctor on Friday, he treated me for reflux. I felt bad all day Friday and Saturday, by 10PM Saturday it felt like an M-60 tank was parked on my chest. I was lucky, The Doctors fixed me up and on March 8th he let me get back at it. So far no problems. Thanks, Hotdog PS: The code indicates this welder is a 1965 model. Note the lack of "RED SEAL" on the exhaust manifold and Lincoln gray paint. Attached Images
