'Recent job i did 2 MC channels 1-10"25lb/ft 14' long spliced to a 18' 12' 40lb/ft.Both havea 10"x3/8"thk. flat welded to bottom.Installed 3"x3"hss under middle at splice.And another on end.All thru bolted with 12" carriage bolts.Columns had 5/8" top and bottom plates.Bottom had 5/8"x6" kwik anchorbolts. Reply:Ahh thats not a fun job i want to see more of your machine repairs lol.But love the work you do. ive done a few welding jobs in someones house they make more nervous then when im cutting into someones 100k boat.High Octane Welding
