Has anyone done it? Anyone have edge quality pics? The only experience I have with it was crude track cutting with worn out equipment and horrible results. Looking for pics to see edge quality and looking for tips for a possible upcoming job. Thanks.Offering CNC Plasma cutting and welding projects.Follow me on facebook https://www.facebook.com/nobigdeal.fabSupport those that support WW.

Reply:Yeah, I planned on trying book specs. They have been dead on for me. I'm more concerned about edge quality, and wondering what I should expect from a good cut.Offering CNC Plasma cutting and welding projects.Follow me on facebook https://www.facebook.com/nobigdeal.fabSupport those that support WW.
Reply:Micks picture is identical to what I get.....I use a Powermax85 as well. The edge is a bit porous, but is overall pretty nice. The Hypertherm shielded consumables are the only way to cut aluminum with plasma....better edge squareness than other processes.Jim Originally Posted by ★ NoBigDeal Fab ★Yeah, I planned on trying book specs. Reply:Thanks for the input guys. That edge quality is about 1000X better than the garbage track cutter I have seen. That edge quality will probably be acceptable to the customer.Offering CNC Plasma cutting and welding projects.Follow me on facebook https://www.facebook.com/nobigdeal.fabSupport those that support WW.
