Dude dropped off a bunch of 5052 to be welded. Plasma cut parts are a pain to weld, Dude looking for a deal so I didn't take time to dress edges. Original tanks were riveted and sealed with pro seal, which is leak prone, so welded is being tested. Actually I did a pair that has been flying a year now. I thought I wouldn't see another pair. My Syncro has a #1 ground so I rigged a twist lock with a #4 and easier to use clamp, folded piece of al sheet to prevent any arcing on the 16ga tank. 4043 filler because its less likely to crack. Mig tacked internals because it was hard to reach with tig and also much faster.Peter Attached ImagesEquipment:2  old paws2  eyes (that don't look so good)1  bad back

Reply:Have you tried 4943?An optimist is usually wrong, and when the unexpected happens is unprepared. A pessimist is usually right, when wrong, is delighted, and well prepared.
