handle for smoker

Hey there....I am looking for ideas for a handle/closure for a door on a upright cabinet. Basically a handle that is attached to the door that will hook to a latch on the cabinet itself. Thanks in advance.

Reply:I've seen basket twists either home made or bought from some place like King metals used, or even something as simple as an old chipping hammer, similar to the spring shown. Reply:good ideas.....but I guess i didn't explain myself better. I am talking about a handle that rotates on the door which latches to a tab to secure the cabinet door to the cabinet.

Reply:Buy a cheap chipping hammer at Harbor Freight or the flea market and use the spring handle.....that's what I did.
Reply:I think you're not understanding us. all the latch need to do is rotate up and down to engage/disengage a tab/hook on the door frame. It can be anything you drill a hole through and mount on the door. just weld an appropriately sized/cut section of angle iron onto the door frame to catch it.There are no problems.
