Reply:Use it with C-25 gas with your mig or Argon with your Tig.I do it all the time on stuff that no body insists do anything more than hold solid.

Reply:It is a Carbon Steel rod, it`s not designed for joining dissimilar metals like 308 or 309.But for something not structural ?Yeah, it will work, it will hold, and it will rust
