Got to play with this awesome machine for a few hours tonight.Got some decent mig results, I ran a lot more, flat and overhead, but my phone died on me.....The inductance setting is nice....Just a couple welders, big hammers, grinders, and torches.Work will free you.Men in dirty jeans built this country, while men in clean suits have destroyed it. The top piece that is clamped down was moving up and down. The higher you turned the wire feed speed the more noticeable it was. I looked at it and it looked to me that a part of the mechanism was machined out of round. I brought it to my LWS and the service guy ordered and replaced some parts. I brought it home and it wasn't much better. I emailed Lincoln and a gentleman called me and told me that he would send me a new machine right away. This was a while back when the machines were very hard to get. He said that my warranty machine comes before any ordered machines, so I got it in less than a week. This machine is fine and the guy that took care of my problem at Lincoln was great.A side note, I'm on my 2nd AlphaTig too, so needless to say I'm not having very good luck when it comes to buying new welders.
