So I'm visiting LA and a friend asks me if I can do a little project for him while I'm here.-Just add a second rollbar and turn the supports to the rear. Chrome finish pls. Reply:This one's a North American Fiberglass version. I think the roll bar misses the fuel filler. I'd need to pull out the trunk liner and get it on a lift to get anywhere close to a measurement. Reply:I wouldn't touch it without a few things in writing...Look at what you are getting yourself into...Many things can and will go wrong.One false move and then what?So what if it's not the "Real Deal". …..Who is drilling through the bodywork for the tubes?Who is bending the tubes?How long do you have to accomplish all this?Who supplies the materials?What will happen when the unfortunate slip happens and the paint is ruined?Know all the unknowns before you start because once you do there ain't no turning back....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Mick...Falcon? Same as a U.S. manufactured Falcon built by Ford and at the lower end of the product roster? Don't get me wrong, I like them and there isn't a thing keeping them down there near the bottom...just wondering if it was the same car. Not familiar with the Australian market and figured it might be the spiffier version of the Holden Wombat or something along those lines. Now, I do know there was/is a Holden car company, but haven't a clue other than a heavy gut feeling there never was a Wombat in their line-up. Reply:Looks like a Shelby American FIA. If your friend could manage to roll it over, no hair pin roll bar would save him anyway. The big block cars have the rear facing support.  He should be more concerned with the windshield, they tend to fold back well before the top speed of 155-160.
