Hi guys,A buddy at work has this in a trailer that we store crap in at our job.  It's his buddies that he's trying to sell for him, and thus I am trying to sell for my buddy.  Either way, owner wants $250!  Its old - its dirty, but if I had 230v I'd pick it up.  It's  got a sort of rigged TIG setup going on - the guy used the stinger clamp to send power down the TIG torch, and gas is manual.  But, it does AC and DC and I believe it has HF start.  It supposedly works as I don't suspect my co-worker of pulling any fast ones, he's very honest. The best part is that it comes with a regulator, what looks like an 80 cubic bottle, and a bunch of filler rod.  The white tube is 308L 3/32!  It's heavy as hell!  And full!  That's got to be about $50 or more right there honestly.Either way, just trying to help a friend out.  $250 takes it.  Let me know and I'll pass along contact info.  Here are some images:Miller Econo Twin HF by Jon Kensy, on FlickrMiller Econo Twin HF by Jon Kensy, on FlickrMiller Econo Twin HF by Jon Kensy, on FlickrComes with everything there.  The acetylene bottle not included. This is located in Bristol, PA about 30 mins outside of Philadelphia. Thanks,JonMiller Diversion 180Hobart Handler 140 (Soon to be replaced with Miller 211?)Miller Spectrum 625 Extreme

Reply:Too far away or I'd grab it for resale (after keeping the TIG parts, filler and cylinder).I'd clean it, paint the cover, make it sexy and turn it. You might do the same thing and then you'd have some TIG gear.
Reply:It's certainly a decent deal with the cylinder included. If someone in the Philly / mid to south Jersey area was looking for a nice stick and starter  tig, it's hard to go wrong at that price. It's nothing fancy, but they can probably easily get almost all their money back if they later decide to upgrade to a better tig machine. The cylinder alone is worth probably $75-100 used if it's an 80 cf..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Reply:good machine, i had one and it worked VERY well for tig, both ac and dc, just needed something with a foot pedal.ESAB MigMaster 275Miller Econotwin HFMiller Syncrowave 250

Reply:Got home with it yesterday.  Going to put a proper 50A plug on it and see how she fires.  It has the older NEMA 10-50 plug on it, and I updated everything to NEMA 14-50 in the garage, and the only 10-50s I have are the stove and washer/dryer, which I'm not going to haul the thing downstairs to try, and wife says no welding in the kitchen :-)I really wish Bruce had told me he didn't have a cap for the cylinder, because I would have brought one with me from the small cargo container of caps I have.  It shifted in transit and the aluminum handle broke off.  No biggie, but a bit of a pain.Just out of curiosity, because I believe I might be traveling out of the northeast for work and the wife's military orders, how hard is it going to be to refill my 80's outside of this area?  I have an 80 of oxygen that was bought with a lifetime lease in MD by a family member, they went out of business, and I have exchanged several times at airgas and has an airgas collar on it.  On my paperwork it simply says  SOLD QTY 1, EXCH 1.  I have two 80's of inert now, one CO2/Ar from Haun (blank collar painted white), and this one from a gas supplier in the Philly region (also has a smooth blank collar).  I've never refilled the Haun tank, because it's always been hooked to the 115V Lincoln and even after 10 lbs of wire it's still cranking in at 1000 PSI tank pressure.  I also have various 20's, some tiny 14-inch acetylene bottles, and a 60 or two kicking around.  None of them have brand stamps on them, and have been bought private sale, so I don't have an original retail sales slip for them.Does airgas have a tendency to take blank collar tanks and give you branded tanks on exchange?  Will most places accept non-branded tanks so long as the hydro-test date is still good?
