I've been using Green Diamond welding lenses for about 20 years (which they don't make any more). I pulled an old lense out of a hood I haven't used in forever and kind of liked it. I know its hard to identify lenses but I figures id give it a shot. It has a M-10-11 or h at the top right corner. It has a almost had a clear looking look to it kind of like the Green Diamond and kinda liked it. I don't like the red, orange, blue, gold and whatever kind of colors they got out now.. Im down to my last Green Diamond #11 and I'm pretty used to it. 20 years and kind of hate change. Bye the way, if any one has any Green Diamond (Nasco) #11 2X4's they wanna get rid of let me know.

Reply:The old glass has a lower index of refraction than plastic. It also has a lower reflection loss and is better for viewing thru my old eyes. The CR39 plastic has a reflection loss of about 6% and IIRC glass is about 4%.
