Parts/service for a Meco torch

I  am not certain where to  post my thread, so I am starting here, hoping this is the correct area on this forum for it.I have my deceased father's acetylene torch, it is a MECO,  WeldMaster.I am wondering if :1) Meco is still in business and servicing these torches? 2) Where and how to get in touch with them?3) and are parts, seals, etc., available for it?4) will tips / accessories, from other torch manufacturers attach to this torch?    which mfgs?I think it needs servicing only because:1)  where the oxygen / cutting tip attaches to the body the tip is sloppy and spins and i can't tighten the nut to the body any tighter. 2)  where the oxygen lever pivots on the torch, there is  a great amount of slop / play.Last edited by Flywelder; 05-26-2016 at 11:55 PM.Reason: To add more info
Reply:MECO (Modern Engineering Company) was made in St Louis, Mo for many years. I have one of those blue anodized handle weld masters myself along with the big type O regulators. I'm sure your local welding supply can send it off for rebuild or you can contact a rebuilder directly. When he received my torch he called to discuss the repair job, so you could tell him your concern about the connecting nut, and you could likely ask if he has a favorite source for tips. I had a great experience with the firm: personalized service, excellent repair/rebuild, and quick shipping.
