works fine on the low 65 amp setting. transformer core has surface rust does this affect the high range? cheers rob
Reply:Surface rust should have no effect on the heat range. That is controlled by the windingsGordie -- "I believe you understand what you think I said, but I'm not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant."
Reply:About all you can do is check the switches and make sure they re not getting hot and melting. A bad switch might cause your problem, But also look at you power cord, plug, connections, work clamp and ect.It is also possible the the contactor may be going bad. |
