Pony pipe clamp LIGHT

Attachment 622071Made this for a little more light. Basic 3/4'' pipe pony clamp with a 90 bent on one end. Just used the HF pipe bender for the 90. Light is a old halogen with a couple of electric mines screwed to the light. This way you can slide the light along the top and even swivel  it in the thread part of the clamp. Works well and you can slide light off and still use the clamp.The other pony clamp is the slide part only. Bought it at flea market for a buck. I utilized that for a easy adjust stand with screw on ''V'' block for the HF band saw. I have a piece of channel to screw on for flat material. Attachment 622061

Reply:You want to know who the man is behind the curtain/ who do you think he is, the Wizzard of Oz? Nice idea. I especially like the support. The lamp idea is great too, but maybe a bit bulky. I prefer spring clamps on mine, but then I've got rafters to attach to. I'm still going to file that idea away for later reference. There have been times when trying to set up a work light on a job has been a real pain and this might have possibilities.Thinking a bit more, I might just bend up the end of a junk piece of pipe for the light. Then I can simply add it to an existing clamp with a coupling. That way it stores using less space and I don't have an odd shaped clamp I have to deal with. Reply:I added the sheet for a clearer picture. There's so much behind it that it blended in and was hard to see the light.As far as the cord inside the pipe, I was thinking about it but I would have to replace what was on the light because of the length. Plus this way, it's easy to remove the light and still use the clamp. I know if I would have ran it inside the thing would have broke the next time I used it.
