Does anyone use a hoo-rag or something like it? Curious how well it works to cover the face and neck while welding. Its 100% microfiber polyester or something like that.Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
Reply:No polyester on me while welding or doing anything with heat or flame. It goes on fire, melts and sticks to your skin and you calmly say "Ouch".Not.---Meltedmetal

Reply:Yeah I know what you're saying. I weld all day long and a regular bandana just cant cover well sometimes when caught up in work. Wonder if there's an all cotton FR type of hoo-rag?Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

Reply:There's a few different recipes, basically soak it in hot solution than let drip dry.RyanMiller Multimatic 200 tig/spool gun/wireless remoteMillermatic 350P, Bernard/XR Python gunsMiller Dynasty 350, Coolmate 3.5 & wireless remoteCK WF1 TIG wire feederMiller Spectrum 375 XtremeOptrel e684Miller Digital EliteMiller Weld-Mask
Reply:I'm not quite sure what your looking for, but our firefighters use a nomex hood that can be $20 and up depending on how much coverage you want.

Reply:I have a hoo-rag.Good for sun, wind, probably dust.Welding, never.  It just feels like one spark and you'd instantly be doing an impersonation of a freshly lit match.
