I am considering building myself a custom c-clamp and I'm planning to use 1/2" ar500 steel. I'm worried that the ar500 might be too brittle. I have never used ar500 before. Any thoughts?Ian TannerKawasaki KX450 and many other fine tools

Reply:Most clamps are made of cast iron. Its a step up compared to that so I wouldn't worry |
