Reply:Did I miss something? You've been building a pretty awesome table with no build thread?GravelThe difference between theory and practice is that in theory there is no difference.

Reply:very nice! Can't wait to see it all done and together!I need to think about a real welding table one of these years.12v battery, jumper cables, and a 6013.I only have a facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/pages/VPT/244788508917829
Reply:Pretty awesome Robert! But I think you built it backwards - the process normally goes like this:1. Build a table that has no features2. Cut a hole to add something you wish you added to begin with.3. Use it a couple years wanting another added feature.4. Return to step 2.5. Use it a couple years......6. Step 2.7. Repeate cycle until the table looks nothing like what you started with but now works great Dave J.Beware of false knowledge; it is more dangerous than ignorance. ~George Bernard Shaw~ Syncro 350Invertec v250-sThermal Arc 161 and 300MM210DialarcTried being normal once, didn't take....I think it was a Tuesday.

Reply:Since your top will be slats you may want to think about putting a thin piece of stainless or something on top of the tool boxes to keep them from getting burned then rusting. The table frame will be fine because of the material thickness butt those boxes are thin sheet metal.GravelThe difference between theory and practice is that in theory there is no difference.

Reply:Nice table Robert! A very organized, well thought out look. Are your going to use a mag-drill to drill the top plate or use some other means? My table is a work in progress as per listed above by Dave..  This is so I can continue to snag great add-on ideas from tables like these.. -Niche
