I'm looking for a flex head torch for my synchrowave 200.  I've seen most of the brands in prices all over the place.  I do mostly sheet metal fabrication (car restoration). I Use low amps (generally<50), air-cooled is fine, and have to be able to fit the finger control on the torch.  Any suggestions?.  Are the differences between the weldmark, Miller, generic big enough to spend the extra money on?  I don't mind spending it, but would like some advice from the pros.ThanksDavid
Reply:I use weldcraft and have had really good luck.  I don't have the flexhead, but they do make one.  ArcZone.com carries their full line and they sell on ebay all the time.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'.
Reply:i have a ck flexhead and it works great on car fab stuff.
Reply:I have a weldcraft also, flex head, but it is a 17 not a 9. The 9 I have is an off brand, also flex head. Both are good, but I do like the quality of the weldcraft better. If you are welding at less than 50 amps, go with the 9. It is nice and light. Won't tire your hand as fast.Tony
Reply:Thanks Guys, I guess I'll go with the weldcraft.  The #9 sounds perfect, I'M a big fan of lighter and smaller.David
