I have a chance to buy a Airco 1-8ADT-2A it's in good shape 50.00 also a Idealarc 250 not sure if it runs, needs plug, 50.00 as well, are they worth buying, I would like to have one so I can use it just for tigging aluminum with a tight rig, is either one good?Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk
Reply:Not sure about the Airco but make sure the Idealarc is the tig model with high frequency. Reply:If there's no rectifier and inductor, adding a switch won't help. There is no lower DC current scale either. Reply:It's AC only and its old 58-61 or so. You can tell by the plate around the line switch and the color of the faceplates. It's worth $50 of anybody's money.
